Zubereitung
Into the oven! Bake your protein brownies in the oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Important: The brownies should still feel soft at this point. They will firm up over time. So don't bake them for too long, otherwise they'll turn more into a chocolate cake.
Recipe Note
Tip: If your protein brownies start browning on top before the baking time is up, you can cover them with some aluminum foil.
About this recipe
Making high-protein brownies yourself has never been so easy and delicious! Our vegan protein brownies are simply the best:
They are suuuuper moist!
Vetain protein powder turns the brownies into real protein powerhouses. What's more, it contains easily digestible and many valuable nutrients.
The kidney beans and nut butter further increase the protein content! And don't worry, you won't even notice the bean flavor in the end!
Nut butter also contains fatty acids that are good for your body.

Substitution table
How often do we want to make a recipe again, only to find that we are missing certain ingredients or do not like individual components? For this case, we have created an ingredient substitution table for you, so that you can adapt the protein brownie recipe to your liking! Simply replace individual ingredients as you wish!
kidney beans → black beans, chickpeas (add a little more liquid here)
dates → very ripe bananas, applesauce
plant-based milk alternative → milk in all shapes and forms, both plant-based and animal-based
Cashew butter → almond butter, peanut butter
Chocolate protein powder → other protein powders such as vanilla or hazelnut, or simply flour
Raw cocoa → regular cocoa powder
Cream of tartar baking powder → regular baking powder
Our protein brownies are vegan, but of course you can also use animal-based ingredients if you like!
*Raw cocoa differs from baking cocoa in its nutrient content. Unlike baking cocoa, raw cocoa is gently processed, so it still contains many antioxidants and minerals.
**We like to use cream of tartar baking powder because, unlike regular baking powder, it contains no added phosphates.
