Your little high protein snack for in between! With our Protein Balls recipe, you can easily make energy balls yourself.
Nährwerte pro Portion
Zubereitung
Soak the dates in some warm water. This makes them easier to process later.
Weigh all other ingredients and put them in a high-performance blender.
Take the dates out of the water, remove the pits (your blender will thank you!) and add them to the other ingredients.
Now it’s time to blend: blend your mixture in intervals and push down the leftovers on the sides repeatedly. If you feel it’s not progressing, add some plant milk.
As soon as you have a loose mass that can be kneaded like dough, you can take your ball mixture out of the blender.
Form small balls with your hands (about 1 tbsp per ball) and roll them in your toppings. If the toppings don’t stick, you can moisten your balls with the date soaking water or some plant milk.
Pack your protein balls airtight and store them in the fridge for up to a week.
Recipe Note
While Energy Balls used to taste rather bland and were just a means to an end, today's recipes are super sophisticated and mega delicious. So that they not only do good but also taste good. Protein Balls are the perfect snack for all health-conscious and active people.

The benefits of Protein Balls
I admit it – we love Protein Balls. They not only taste incredibly delicious but are also really good for you:
The nuts and nut butter provide the Protein Balls with high-quality protein and healthy fatty acids.
Vetain's protein powder is super clean and contains only selected ingredients.
Instead of refined sugar, we use dates – this ensures a pleasant and above all natural sweetness. Dates are not only more nutrient-rich but also cause blood sugar levels to rise less quickly than table sugar.
